Hi there,You are very welcome in beautiful Sweden!                   We have a beautiful B&B. Nestled in the heart of nature reserves in the small village of Gubbhögen (Strömsund) on the Wilderness Route (Vildmarksvägen).

Our B&B is currently being completely renovated and fully equipped. 1-1-2026 we are opening the doors!

Our apartment features the following: a typical Swedish kitchen (renovated) with a microwave, oven, coffeemaker, watercooker and other facilities.

​

Two beautiful bedrooms: one with a spacious double bed and one with two single beds. Two additional fold-out beds can be added, allowing the apartment to sleep up to six people. 

​

Fully renovated bathroom with toilet.

​

Very spacious living room with a view of the landscape.               In the distance, you can spot deer, foxes, and other wildlife 🐾

Private entrance & parking.
Equipped with a heat pump/air conditioning.                              (can heat and cool) and much more!

To do in Gubbhögen and the surrounding area?

​

- visit the Waterfall 'Hällingsåfallet' - just here, you can spend a whole day, wear hiking shoes and pack a well-filled backpack with bread and drinks, and trek through the forests.

​

- visit Östersund, go shopping for a day, enjoy good food and soak in the surroundings (the drive to Östersund is fantastic on its own.

​​​

- rent a quad for a day including lunch & guide (this can be booked with us)

​​

- visit Sundsvall for a day, go shopping and visit IKEA.

Also there is an nice SPA.

​

- visit Strömsund, spend a day at the campsite (free entry) and enjoy swimming.

​

- take a relaxing day, go to the lake where you can enjoy a sauna in the middle of the woods, possibly including lunch & dinner 

​

- a day at BigRiverCamp, endless activities such as snowmobiling in the forests, fishing, quad biking, hunting, dog sledding, whiskey tasting, ice drifting, etc.

- dinner choice of 3 dishes per evening (we have a small kitchen) - rent a quad for 8 hours including fuel, lunch and a guide 

- full catered BBQ prepared at a Komado.

- shuttle service, pick-up from the airport (Östersund) and return 

- pets (possible upon consultation)

- take a sauna 

- use the jacuzzi and ice bath

- do a workshop at the Kamado
